Brrrrrrrr!

Yes, it's cold! The beautiful, crisp and sunny days are welcome after all the rain, and the new year brings another opportunity to get out and about in our precious green spaces.

Friends of the Park put work-parties on hold during the poorest weather, but we have a new timetable in place to begin again in the Spring. Check the events page of the website for those dates for your diary. They'll be publicised more widely nearer the time, and we'll have a focus on clearing invasive species of plants to stop them spreading further and covering paths or choking waterways.

Meantime, this month there's an open meeting for all members to look in detail at way-markers and benches. That's on Sunday 21 Jan, 10:00-12:00 at the Vassalls Centre, and you are welcome.
