Sad that summer's on its way out? Here's a whole load of exciting Friends of the Park happenings over the next couple of months. Put the dates in your diary and come along! Hope to see some of you at some of them soon.

Thursday 18th September 10-12pm
Himalayan Balsam clearance on the banks of the Frome led by Park Work.
Turn up on the day – wear suitable shoes and clothing, bring gloves.
Weds 25th or Friday 27th September (to be confirmed but date for your diary)
Brush cutting on the Wildflower meadow – volunteers needed to rake up leavings.
Look out for announcements on Face Book, What’s App and the Friends of Oldbury Court Estate website.
Saturday 21st September and Saturday 28th September. 1pm at the Vassalls Centre.
Spirit of Place workshops with Pete Insole.
Meet at the Vassalls Centre at 1pm and later head into the Park. All welcome.
Sunday 29th September Meet at Kiosk at 10am.
Regular Sunday work- party: litter picking, invasive species tackling and more!
All welcome, meet at 10 am by the Kiosk.
Thursday 3rd October, meet at the Kiosk at 2pm.
Joe McKenna will show us how to tackle Laurel and we can try out the tools needed.
